I am available by email on Mondays I teach in Room 1 on Tuesdays & Thursdays (see schedule to the right) I am off on Wednesdays and Fridays. A short biography: I have loved Spanish since I began learning it in the first grade! I studied it from that year on all the way through college. I spent a year in graduate school in Madrid, Spain and earned a Masters degree. When I decided to become a teacher, I chose Spanish, because it was the best subject I knew, and because I had had some wonderful teachers over the years. This is my tenth year teaching at MEA. I worked here for three years over 20 years ago when my husband and I had first moved to San Diego. I took a long break to stay home and raise our three daughters. I am now beginning my seventh consecutive year here. The students are kind, hardworking, and inspiring, and they make me want to be a better teacher every day. I continue to learn from them (especially about technology!), and I hope to be a valuable guide who can help them navigate the challenges and benefits of independent learning. |
